Help or Hinder...

When I woke up early Monday morning with extra energy, I created my to-do list and KNEW I was going to get this house cleaner than it had ever been. As the day progressed, the energy dimished, and the hope of completing even one item grew dark. I figured rather than give up and pout (which I do ALOT) I would just pull out the camera and take pictures. Hopefully Andy will look at this blog and get an idea as to why the maid always seems to be on vacation...:)

Are they loading or unloading the dishwasher? Does it really matter?

I wish the older kids were as anxious to help.

I actually did get this bathroom cleaned...during nap time...theirs, not mine.

Unloading the dishwasher is Caitlyn's job at home, too. I'm glad to see you keep her responsible! :)
I'm glad you let the babies play with the cleaners under the sink.

And whose fault is that...?

This is Vili.

I saw on TV that there's a restaurant that has 2 monkeys, one to clean up and one to serve drinks. You need to train one of those babies to serve! I'm surprised you still have a door on your dishwasher!
Oh you want that door off your dishwasher? I'll be right over to break all the doors off your major appliances.

Could you please send those little maids over here? This house could really use some work. And the maid we have now is not nearly as cute (or as efficient).

Relaxing Sunday

After quite a crazy week, it's nice to relax and... ...enjoy a nice piece of chocolate cake (diet starts Monday) ...take a little nap on the comfortable kitchen floor (ignore the fact that it needs to be mopped...again) ...enjoy a peaceful family walk through the neighborhood HAPPY HAPPY SUNDAY! Are we ready for Monday?....Bring it ON!!

Snug as a Bug in a Rug....

Kelsey is a bit of a wild sleeper. We usually find at least one appendage hanging (or stuck) out of the crib. The poor girl was REALLY stuck this time. She's asleep in this picture, but didn't sleep long once we started the routine to unstick those thighs.

She Wears Me Out

Why is it when I need to stick to a schedule and get things done, there are those that try to keep me from completing anything?? Let me introduce you to Miss Kelch....you can see she has had an eventful morning. I had made some chocolate peanut butter bars in the morning to be ready for the kids for an after school snack....Kelsey enjoyed the frosting off of the bars while I was using the facilities. While cleaning up the chocolate mess, I realized things had gotten too quiet. Upon opening the door to my bathroom, I found the lovely miss Kelsey applying some mascara to her lushes eye lashes..as well as the fronts of my bathroom cabinets. As I was cleaning up the mascara with my favorite tool...the Magic Eraser..I heard Alyson crying and realized she was laying (unprotected) on the ottoman. As I ran down the stairs and rounded the corner....I found this.... I must admit I was pretty impressed she was able to get Alyson into this feeding position. I'm guessing it wasn't a smooth ...
